FL Christian Missionary Booted From US House Ballot

Florida Politics reports:

Republican congressional candidate Scotty Moore has been disqualified from the ballot in Florida’s 9th Congressional District, apparently because his qualifying paperwork included the wrong form for a party loyalty oath.

Moore, a consultant and former Christian missionary from Orlando, arguably was the leading Republican in the race, at least in terms of campaign fundraising and big-name endorsements.

Moore’s disqualification was posted late Friday by the Florida Division of Elections. He reportedly was disqualified because he filled out, signed, and submitted a Republican Party oath of loyalty for state or local candidates, instead of the required one for federal candidates.
