CHATTER AWAY: Overnight Open Thread

The Daily Mail reports:

Alison Moyet was made an MBE by Anne, Princess Royal at Windsor Castle on Wednesday. The singer, 60, real name Geneviève Ballard, cut a stylish figure as she posed for pictures while holding her red lapel pin.

It was announced Alison would receive an MBE in the Queen’s Birthday Honours last year.

She has now joined the Members of the Order of the British Empire and is recognised for her services to music. After the news was announced last June, she Alison said: ‘I have been gifted an MBE on the occasion of the Queen’s Birthday.
