Common Dreams reports:
The Arizona Senate on Wednesday passed a Republican-authored bill that advocates warn could prompt “the most extreme voter purge in the country” by requiring state residents to provide proof of citizenship to stay on the rolls.

The bill’s author, Rep. Jake Hoffman, was in the national news last month as he is one of Arizona’s fake electors. In 2020 he was banned by Twitter for running a paid teenage pro-Trump troll farm with Charlie Kirk. He first appeared on JMG when he introduced a “No Promo Homo” education bill.
“This is a recipe for chaos, not election integrity, and it would likely cut the state’s electorate in half overnight,” warned @Phx_Marilyn. https://t.co/u0xeVwEuU1

?JUST IN ? The Arizona Senate has passed #HB2492, which allow the state to enforce a proof of citizenship requirement on voter registration forms and ensure only U.S. citizens are allowed to vote.
EVERY single Democrat voted against the bill. Thank you @AZSenateGOP! pic.twitter.com/A467tQL7Fr
