Loony Lindell Acolyte Launches Bid For Wisconsin Gov

The Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel reports:

State Rep. Timothy Ramthun entered the race for governor Saturday, ensuring 2022 will be all about 2020. The Campbellsport Republican brought election conspiracy theorist Mike Lindell to a high school auditorium to make his pitch to voters, an argument that relies on the impossible and illegal endeavor of revoking Wisconsin’s 10 electoral votes for President Joe Biden.

Lindell kicked off the three-hour rally, telling the hundreds of supporters from across Wisconsin that Ramthun could shift Wisconsin’s electoral votes to former President Donald Trump more than a year after the 2020 election. The crowd hollered as Lindell detailed how a review of the election was thwarted by Ramthun’s fellow Republicans who control the Legislature.
