The Ottawa Citizen reports:
Ottawa-Centre MPP Joel Harden urged the Ontario government to reconvene the legislature to “immediately” begin debating additional emergency measures to deal with the convoy protest.
Harden asked government House Leader Paul Calandra to recall the legislature to explore “immediate action” on revoking commercial licences or insurance for protesters, and to take immediate action on building safety and financial supports for small businesses downtown impacted by the convoy.
“There is an organized attempt, (police) believe from convoy protesters, to flood our 911 services with vexatious calls — happening right now — where first responders are being sent to inappropriate (locations),” Harden said during Thursday’s session of the Ontario government’s select committee on COVID-19.

It is a crime to unnecessarily call 911 or our non-emergency number (613-236-1222). We track calls and will charge anyone deliberately interfering with emergencies. (2/2) pic.twitter.com/CnvCzF6r9X

The anti-mask occupiers are flooding the 9-11 call system with fake calls.
In all my years in public life I have never heard of a tactic that was so reckless and showed such little regard for the safety of others.
Time for police to get serious.https://t.co/yJ8bxkeg7d— Charlie Angus (@CharlieAngusNDP) February 10, 2022
