The Express reports:
Sir Keir Starmer has been bundled into a police car after being mobbed by a group of anti-vax protesters. Police were forced to quickly intervene after the group hurled abuse at the Labour leader. They booed the Labour leader as they chased him down the street.
The activists could be heard screaming “traitor” as they confronted the Holborn & St Pancras MP. Sir Keir was walking past the New Scotland Yard headquarters making his way back towards Parliament when he was confronted by the thugs.
Police surrounded him as they sought to help him make his journey unimpeded. However, after dozens of furious protesters managed to surround the politician he was dramatically pulled away by police.
Understand protestors were shouting at Starmer about Jimmy Savile & had a noose. This is just days after @BorisJohnson repeated the false claim – regularly used by the far right – that the Labour leader failed to prosecute Savile when he was DPP https://t.co/8GPJpbevW8

All very nasty – heard some of the protesters shouting about Jimmy Savile. Scuffles with police followed after Starmer was rushed away. https://t.co/HdiRzN0doG

This is appalling. People were shouting all sorts at Keir, including “Jimmy Savile”.
This is what happens when a prime minister descends into the gutter and recycles lies from hard-right conspiracy theorists. Political poison has an effect. Johnson has no moral compass. https://t.co/pC2msvYsZW— Chris Bryant (@RhonddaBryant) February 7, 2022
Labour leader Keir Starmer is called a “traitor” and “paedophile protector” by anti-vaccine and “freedom convoy” protesters in Westminster. One asks why Labour has allowed “our right to Magna Carta and common law” to be ignored.pic.twitter.com/j7fGmFzInO

What happened to Keir Starmer tonight outside parliament is appalling. It is really important for our democracy & for his security that the false Savile slurs made against him are withdrawn in full.
