CNN reports:
The committee investigating the January 6, 2021, attack on the U.S. Capitol plans to reach out to former Trump attorney Rudy Giuliani, Rep. Bennie Thompson (D-Miss.) told CNN, as the probe zeroes in on Trump’s close associates. Giuliani has not been issued a subpoena and it’s unclear when the committee will contact him, but Thompson confirmed to CNN that it will do so at some point. Thompson said the committee “absolutely” plans to talk to Giuliani, calling him an “integral part of whatever happens” with the investigation.
