Anti-Vax Soap Star: I’m Homeless, Nobody Will Hire Me

Britain’s Metro News reports:

Former Coronation Street star Sean Ward has revealed his anti-vaxx views have left him homeless due to producers not wanting to hire him for work.

The 33-year-old, who starred as Callum Logan in the ITV soap, has been outspoken over his stance against the Covid vaccine and has attended several protests.

In September 2021, Sean was arrested during an anti-vaccination protest in Canary Wharf, London, and was pictured being escorted away by police. However, he has been unable to secure work over the past two years, leaving him struggling to pay rent.

The Sun reports:

The actor earned around £100,000-year as Coronation Street bad boy Callum Logan and starred in the BBC’s Our Girl military drama alongside Michelle Keegan.

In an Instagram post, he told fans how he’d lost everything for his beliefs: “Firstly the work dried up. No one would hire me whether in front of or behind the camera, all my usual ways of making money just stopped, eventually I couldn’t afford the rent.”

He also revealed he couldn’t afford to run his Honda Civic motor – dubbed his “beautiful Jenny” and it was seized by the DVLA for having no tax. Sean added: “Was it all worth it? Yes! If I’ve saved one life then yes.”
