FBI Nabs NV Man For Assaulting Cops In Capitol Riot

Courthouse News reports:

A Nevada man who repeatedly assaulted law enforcement with a table leg and threw several other objects at other officers was arrested on Friday, nearly one year after the Jan. 6 storming of the U.S. Capitol.

Josiah Kenyon, wearing a Jack Skellington onesie from “The Nightmare Before Christmas,” threw several different objects at law enforcement officers on Jan. 6, including a hard plastic pylon and several unidentifiable objects — before striking multiple law enforcement officers with a table leg still bearing a protruding nail.

An FBI affidavit says Kenyon hit the table leg repeatedly against his hand in an attempt to intimidate police officers, eventually hitting an officer in the head with the wooden leg. The protruding nail became momentarily stuck in the opening between the top of the officer’s face shield and the helmet, lifting the officer’s face shield.
