Proud Boys leader Enrique Tarrio is asking to be let out of prison so that he can serve out the rest of his sentence under home confinement. NBC 4 Washington’s Scott MacFarlane reports that “Tarrio cites, among other things, concerns about physical conditions and safety inside” the Washington D.C. jail where he’s currently residing.
Tarrio was sentenced to jail earlier this year after he admitted in court that he tore down and burned a Black Lives Matter flag that was on display at the Asbury United Methodist Church in Washington D.C. in the days leading up to the January 6th Capitol riots.
