In a cringe-worthy quip, Rep. Lauren Boebert (R-Colo.) challenged wheelchair-bound fellow lawmaker to “a sprint” to settle their supposed spat over hiring newly minted right-wing hero Kyle Rittenhouse as a congressional intern.
The far right-wing supporter of former President Trump said a footrace would be a fair way to sort out the just-for-chuckles fight with Rep. Madison Cawthorn (R-N.C.) instead of the arm-wrestling contest that he had suggested.
“Madison Cawthorn has some pretty big (muscles) so I’m gonna challenge him to a sprint,” Boebert said. “Let’s make it fair.”
