Graham: Thank Jesus For Saving Us In Plane Crashes

Posted today to Franklin Graham’s Facebook page:

All 21 people—18 passengers and three crew—miraculously escaped without serious injuries after the private plane they were in crashed, rolled through a fence, and burst into flames Tuesday morning near Houston, TX. The McDonnell Douglas MD-87 jet was about to depart on the way to Boston.

Ronald Walker, the Texas Emergency Management District Coordinator, said, “Yes. Thank the Lord,” when he talked about these passengers living to tell the tale of surviving a plane crash. He is right—we should be quick to give God the thanks.

In the Bible, Jesus healed 10 lepers, and tells us that only one came back to say thank you.

We should all thank the Lord for sparing us from so many dangers throughout our lives, both seen and unseen. We have no idea what He is protecting us from, even today. Let’s stop and thank Him now.

Graham doesn’t bother to say why Jesus crashed that plane in the first place.
