New Name Of Annual FRC Convention: Pray Vote Stand

Just in via press release:

Family Research Council and FRC Action today announced the inaugural Pray Vote Stand Summit, replacing FRC Action’s previous flagship event, the Values Voter Summit. For the past 15 years, FRC and FRCA held the annual Values Voter Summit which served as a forum to help inform and mobilize citizens across America to preserve our nation’s bedrock values.

The Pray Vote Stand Summit builds on the groundwork laid by the Values Voter Summit and will address issues such as protecting the unborn, the importance of the nuclear family, domestic and international religious liberty, developments in our nation’s education system, and others.

Pray. Vote. Stand. These three verbs serve as both points of action and reflection for Christians in our time. The challenges in our culture make clear the need for us to pray for our nation, to consistently vote our biblical values and to stand uncompromisingly for the truth.

The Values Voter Summit has rivaled CPAC in its ability to draw leading Republicans and prominent right wing figures. Trump keynoted the last in-person Values Voter Summit in 2019. FRC president Tony Perkins has been teasing the name change for months, as you can see above.
