Neo-Nazi Streamer Gets 41 Months On Gun Charges

Law & Crime reports:

A Florida man who agitated for a “race-based civil war” will spend more than three years for being a felon in possession of firearms, prosecutors said. Paul Nicholas Miller, a 33-year-old from Ft. Lauderdale, had previously been convicted of three separate felony offenses in New Jersey before he took firearms training in Florida. He applied in the Sunshine State for a concealed carry license, where he falsely claimed that he had never been convicted of a felony.

In a sentencing memo, Assistant U.S. Attorney Kiran N. Bhat described how Miller regularly live-streamed hate-filled rants to “thousands of social media followers” in videos filled with Nazi imagery and ideology. The FBI began monitoring Miller before his indictment this past February, watching him in “Nazi regalia and a bulletproof vest” and brandishing “what appeared to be knives or firearms.”

As I reported back in June, Miller’s virtual hearing was interrupted multiple times by supporters shouting racist slurs over the live-stream.

According to prosecutors, Miller’s own live-streams regularly included exhortations to “lynch, scalp, shoot, kill, gas or beat” Jews, blacks, and gays. Miller also posted calls to assassinate Rep. Ilhan Omar.

As you can see from the screencap above, Miller was once lionized by OAN as a “survivor” of an attack by an “antifa mob.” In fact, that incident was the infamous Proud Boys brawl outside New York City’s Metropolitan Republican Club.

According to Miami’s NBC News affiliate, Miller sobbed in court as he was sentenced.
