The Hill reports:
Secretary of Transportation Pete Buttigieg announced on Twitter on Tuesday that he and his husband, Chasten Buttigieg, are going to become parents. “The process isn’t done yet and we’re thankful for the love, support, and respect for our privacy that has been offered to us,” he wrote. “We can’t wait to share more soon.”
The couple, who married in 2018, has previously said that they want to grow their family. Pete Buttigieg revealed their plan to have a child when asked about his views on paid parental leave during a 2019 press conference.
