Stewart Rhodes, the founder and leader of right-wing militia group the Oath Keepers, was spotted by a Salon reporter Friday evening strolling the halls of the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) in Dallas, Texas. When asked why he was in attendance at the conservative conference, Rhodes quickly became enraged and yelled, “f**k off.” A female associate, identified as Marcia Strickler on her CPAC pass, also came within inches of this reporter, yelling various obscenities.

As you surely know, over a dozen Oath Keepers have been arrested for the attack on the US Capitol and Rhodes has been questioned by federal authorities who say he took 19 phone calls during the riot. In December 2020, Rhodes called for Trump to declare martial law or else he would be forced to lead a “bloody civil war and revolution.”

Still no word from @mschlapp or CPAC officials on if they will allow right-wing Oath Keepers founder Stewart Rhodes to remain at their event. Initially, a high-ranking CPAC official told Salon they’re in touch with federal law enforcement authorities regarding the matter.
