Man Who Voted Against Bipartisan Riot Commission Attacks Pelosi Over Members Of “Sham Commission”

Ted Cruz has hit out at Nancy Pelosi and branded the January 6 commission a “sham” in a Twitter attack. The firebrand Republican Senator called out the Democrat House Speaker as she prepares a panel to examine the cause of the riot at the U.S. Capitol and how to avoid repeat scenes.

Sen. Cruz said in the tweet, uploaded on Sunday: “Nancy Pelosi’s sham ‘commission’ (consisting only of people who voted to impeach Trump):” His remark comes as the committee prepares to commence its investigation into the riot, which Republicans have accused of already holding an anti-Trump bias.
