POLL: 51% Support Trump’s Two-Year Ban By Facebook

Politico reports:

While the majority of Americans have heard about former President Donald Trump’s Facebook suspension, just over half support the platform’s two-year ban, according to a new POLITICO/ Morning Consult poll released Monday.

71 percent of voters have heard “a lot” or “some” about Trump’s suspension from the social media platform, while 51 percent of Americans strongly or somewhat support Facebook’s move. The responses were largely divided along partisan lines.

While just 15 percent of Republican voters were in favor of the suspension, support for Trump’s temporary ban was high among Democrats at 86 percent. Independent voters were a mixed bag, with 46 percent supporting the suspension, and 40 percent opposing it.
