Fox’s Jason Chaffetz Backs Trump For House Speaker

“Under the Constitution, you don’t need to be a member of Congress to be elected the Speaker of the House.

“So put Donald Trump in as Speaker of the House and he can go out and investigate everybody and he can impeach everybody.

“It would make for great TV.” – Former GOP Rep. Jason Chaffetz, now a Fox contributor, on Fox & Friends.

In October 2016, Chaffetz withdrew his endorsement of Trump following the “grab ’em by the pussy” scandal, saying, “I’m out. I can no longer in good conscience endorse this person for president. It is some of the most abhorrent and offensive comments that you can possibly imagine.”
