LIVE VIDEO: Biden Addresses Pipeline Cyber Attack

ABC News reports:

President Biden plans to address the nation Thursday on the attack on the Colonial Pipeline that led to panic buying and fuel shortages. He also is scheduled to convene an Oval Office meeting with six Republican senators as he continues to try to build support for a sweeping infrastructure package.

The Colonial Pipeline, which delivers about 45% of the fuel that is consumed on the East Coast, was hit Friday with a cyberattack by hackers who lock up computer systems and then demand a ransom to release them. The attack raised concerns, once again, about the vulnerability of the nation’s critical infrastructure.
