Feds Say Duggar Had 200+ Images, Children As Young As 18 Months, Christian Porn Filter Failed To Alert Wife

TMZ reports:

Josh Duggar’s friends and family told law enforcement he’s dealing with a porn addiction according to the feds, who claim his computer was chock full of disturbing images. The “19 Kids and Counting” star appeared over Zoom for a court hearing Wednesday in his child pornography case. During the hearing, an agent from the Dept. of Homeland Security said Josh’s computer had more than 200 images involving naked minors and child sex abuse material.

People Magazine reports:

The files were initially flagged by a police detective in Little Rock, Ark., and then allegedly traced to Duggar’s IP address on a computer at his workplace at the time, the Wholesale Motorcars dealership.

One file, according to Special Agent Gerald Faulkner, depicted child sex abuse involving children ranging from 18 months to 12 years of age. Faulkner described the images as “in the top five of the worst of the worst that I’ve ever had to examine.”

According to Faulkner, when homeland security officials raided Duggar’s car dealership and asked to speak with him, without informing him they were investigating child pornography, Duggar “spontaneously” responded, “What is this about? Has someone been downloading child pornography?”

According to the above-linked report, Duggar had installed the Christian filter “Covenant Eyes,” which was supposed to alert his wife when he viewed porn. The filter did not work, according the report, because Duggar used a password-protected network. As I reported in 2019, Covenant Eyes also failed an Alabama televangelist now serving a 1008-year sentence (really), for molesting boys.
