Newsmax Host Has “Sympathy” For Arrested Rioter

“By the way, I just want to make clear. Mr. Barnett, I have a lot of sympathy for you, and what you’ve gone through. I don’t think you should have been kept in custody. You may have made some mistakes that day, and we’ll see what happens.

“But I think it’s ridiculous that you were in custody for as long as you were. And I’m glad to see you’re finally out.” – Newsmax host Greg Kelly, speaking to the man who ransacked Pelosi’s office.

As you can see below, Newsmax says he was merely “kicking it” that day.

This man was kept behind bars for nearly 4 months after kicking it at House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s desk on January 6th, and now he’s been released and is awaiting trial.
