NPR reports:
NBC announced over the weekend that Elon Musk would host Saturday Night Live on May 8. The iconic sketch-comedy show is in its 46th season.
Saturday Night Live doesn’t usually have business executives host its show, but as pointed out in a story by The Associated Press, Musk is far from a stuffy corporate type.
While it is billionaire Musk’s first time to host SNL, he’s no stranger to television. Not counting news interview shows and press conferences, Musk has made guest appearances on the CBS shows Young Sheldon and The Big Bang Theory.

Having Elon Musk host SNL seriously feels like the show’s biggest misstep since having Trump host

Elon Musk hosting SNL is huge for guys still making “that’s what she said” jokes who think they’d be great at hosting SNL.

People who are mad about Elon Musk hosting SNL need to understand that hosting SNL is *not* an endorsement, for example Adolf Hitler hosted SNL in 1938

Elon Musk, the chief executive of Tesla and chief engineer of SpaceX, will host SNL on May 8 — a rare pick outside of the worlds of entertainment, politics and sports. https://t.co/CrU8YfbgpX
