Cultist Blames “Bong Rips” For Threats Against Dems

The New York Daily News reports:

A former New York state court employee said “a few bong rips” and months in isolation factored in his decision to send death threats to Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and prominent Democrats.

Brendan Hunt added at his Brooklyn Federal Court trial on Tuesday that he didn’t think anyone would take seriously his social media directive to “kill all senators.”

“If you look at what I was saying, the idea that I would somehow borrow someone’s gun and waltz into Biden’s inauguration ceremony like some Looney Toons character — I think it’s a pretty ridiculous idea,” Brendan Hunt testified under question from his defense lawyer.

Read the full article. In text messages to his father, Hunt praised Nazi ideologies and said that Trump should declare a dictatorship “like Hitler did.” He also texted his father racist comments about immigrants and Jews.
