“QAnon Shaman” Apologizes: I’m Deeply Disappointed In Trump, He Was “Not Honorable,” Let People Down

The Arizona Republic reports:

The Phoenix man who took part in the Jan. 6 raid on the U.S. Capitol wearing a fur hat with horns, apologized on Monday for entering the building and expressed disappointment in former President Donald Trump, at whose behest he had traveled to D.C. “I was wrong. Period,” Jake Angeli said in the statement released through his attorney.

Angeli said that his incarceration “has permitted me to start reanalyzing my life,” the statement said. Among the aspects of his life, he has re-analyzed was his support of Trump. “I am deeply disappointed in former President Trump,” Angeli said in his statement. “He was not honorable.
