The Orlando Sentinel reports:
Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, speaking Wednesday at a senior community in Hernando County, lashed out again at criticism of pop-up sites for coronavirus vaccines in wealthy, white neighborhoods.
“There’s some people who are more upset at me for vaccinating seniors than they are at other governors whose policies have killed seniors, and that is a joke,” he said in response to a reporter’s question at the High Point Community, a 55-plus residential and golf development in Brooksville.
Last week, DeSantis blew off criticism that one of the state’s latest pop-up sites at Lakewood Ranch in Manatee County was limited to residents of wealthy neighborhoods.
