Los Angeles’ ABC News affiliate reports:
A source close to the King family confirmed to ABC News on Saturday that famous television and radio host Larry King is currently hospitalized in Los Angeles for COVID-19.
The source, close to the family, told ABC News, “Larry has fought so many health issues in the last few years and he is fighting this one hard too, he’s a champ.” He is hospitalized at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center.
The Hollywood Reporter reports:
The report indicated that the longtime television host, 87, is in isolation and unable to receive visits from his wife of 23 years, Shawn King — to whom a divorce was initiated in 2019 — or other family members.
In 2019, King was hospitalized for chest pain and underwent blood flow surgery. In the past, he has survived a heart attack and a stroke.
