Bidens Honor Frontline Workers In NYE Address [Video]

President-elect Joe Biden and his wife Dr. Jill Biden honored frontline workers in a New Year’s Eve address Thursday during ABC’s “New Year’s Rockin’ Eve” broadcast from Times Square. “My mother used to have an expression,” Biden said.

“Bravery resides in every heart and someday it’ll be summoned. [In] the people we’re honoring tonight, it was summoned and they stepped up and they’re brave, they did so much,” the president-elect said.

“They risked their lives, they’ve done so much for us and we owe them, we owe them, we owe them,” added Biden. “We’re so grateful for everything they did. You know, they left their families and their homes so that we could be safe and I — all Americans truly appreciate what they did for us,” added Jill Biden.
