US Again Breaks Daily Record With 3903 COVID Deaths

As 2020 comes to an end, the United States broke the record for coronavirus deaths for the second consecutive day. The country reported at least 3,903 COVID-19 related deaths on Wednesday, according to The Atlantic’s COVID Tracking Project.

The previous fatality record was recorded just the day before, with 3,725 deaths reported on Tuesday. Across the country, more than 225,671 new cases were reported on Wednesday, including a high of 6,754 cases reported in Louisiana.
