Talking Points Memo reports:
President Donald Trump said late Sunday night that he and the rest of the White House would not immediately receive Pfizer’s new vaccine for COVID-19.
“People working in the White House should receive the vaccine somewhat later in the program, unless specifically necessary. I have asked that this adjustment be made,” he tweeted
Trump’s announcement came after the New York Times and Bloomberg reported that he and senior White House officials would be among the first to get the new vaccine as it rolls out over the next several days.
People working in the White House should receive the vaccine somewhat later in the program, unless specifically necessary. I have asked that this adjustment be made. I am not scheduled to take the vaccine, but look forward to doing so at the appropriate time. Thank you!
