1010 WINS reports:
Dr. Anthony Fauci and U.S. Department of Health & Human Services Secretary Alex Azar will receive their COVID-19 vaccines on Tuesday.
In a tweet, Azar said he, Fauci and National Institutes of Health Director Francis Collins would get vaccinated on Tuesday, without providing an exact time.
Tomorrow I’ll receive my COVID-19 vaccine @NIH alongside @NIHDirector, @NIAIDNews Dr. Fauci, & several @NIHClinicalCntr frontline workers.
We believe it’s important to publicly receive the vaccine as part of our efforts to demonstrate that these vaccines are safe and effective.

I want to recognize and thank the staff of the @NIHClinicalCntr: You have continued to provide care for patients who badly need it during this time, and your work is heroic.

It is a proud moment for the @HHSGov family to have vaccinations begin at @NIH, where work on the Moderna #COVID19 vaccine began immediately after the viral sequence was published online in January.
