Assault Charge For Cultist Who Coughed On Protester

The New York Daily News reports:

Lending a whole new meaning to the term “heavy breather,” a man was arrested Sunday for exhaling onto women at Trump’s Virginia golf course. Raymond Deskins, 61, was charged with misdemeanor assault after a private citizen obtained a warrant through a county magistrate, the Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office said Sunday.

They were near the entrance to Trump National Golf Club, where the president was playing and where both protestors and supporters regularly gather when he plays.

Video of at least part of the incident was shared on social media. Since the alleged assault wasn’t witnessed by law enforcement and was only partially caught on video, the Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office told them they’d have to apply for a warrant through a county magistrate, which is what they did.
