The Daily Beast reports:
President Donald Trump escalated his attacks on Pennsylvania Gov. Tom Wolf on Monday, threatening to not come to the state’s aid as the deadly COVID-19 pandemic continues to plague it.
“So Tom Wolf, next time give us a little notice, governor,” Trump said Monday at the Allentown rally appearance, claiming “your governor made it almost impossible for us to find any site” for the event.
“And I’ll remember it, Tom. I’m going to remember it, Tom. ‘Hello, Mr. President, this is Gov. Wolf, I need help, I need help.’ You know what? These people are bad.”
“I’ll remember it, Tom… ‘hello Mr President, this is Gov. Wolf, I need help'” — Trump suggests he won’t provide help to PA if Gov. Tom Wolf calls & asks for it because he’s mad that Wolf is taking basic public health precautions to slow the spread of coronavirus. #QuidProQuo pic.twitter.com/FVsqnIBuHx

At his second PA event, Trump repeats his false claim that Gov. Tom Wolf is in charge of the ballots, his false claim that Wolf has the state shut down, and his threat – a bit vaguer this time – to “remember” that Wolf (allegedly) made it hard for him to get a rally site.
