Obama To Visit Georgia In Election Eve Bid To Flip State

Atlanta’s CBS News affiliate reports:

Former President Barack Obama will visit Atlanta on Monday in a final effort to rally supporters for former Vice President Joe Biden and get them to the polls.

The Biden-Harris campaign confirmed Obama’s visit to Channel 2′s Richard Elliot. The campaign hasn’t confirmed specific details. However, Georgia Democrats are hosting a “Flip Georgia Blue” car rally at the old Turner Field parking lots to support Senate candidates Jon Ossoff and Rev. Raphael Warnock. The event is set for 4:30 p.m.

Obama’s Monday visit comes after President Donald Trump and Sen. Kamala Harris make their final appearances in Georgia on Sunday.
