Chris Christie has checked into hospital as a “precautionary measure”, according to a tweet on his official account on Saturday. The former New Jersey governor, who has asthma, drove himself to hospital in his home state, CNN reported.
“In consultation with my doctors, I checked myself into Morristown Medical Center this afternoon. While I am feeling good and only have mild symptoms, due to my history of asthma we decided this is an important precautionary measure,” he tweeted on Saturday.
Chris Christie told CNN he checked himself into the hospital Saturday afternoon as a precautionary measure. Christie suffers from asthma, and in consultation with his doctor he decided it was best to be monitored in the hospital. He has a slight fever and is achey. @DanaBashCNN
