Joe Biden To Pull TV Ads In Commemoration Of 9/11

ABC News reports:

Joe Biden’s campaign is pulling its television ads off the air for the day on Friday, Sept. 11, to commemorate the anniversary of the 2001 terrorist attacks.

“On September 11th, Vice President Biden will commemorate the anniversary of the attack on our country and will honor the incredible bravery, tragedy, and loss we experienced on that day,” Michael Gwin, deputy rapid response director for Biden for President, told The Hill in a statement.

9/11 Day, the nonprofit that established the anniversary of the 9/11 attacks as a federally-recognized National Day of Service and Remembrance, had called on the Democratic presidential nominee and President Trump to suspend their campaigns for the day.

The Trump campaign hasn’t said if they’ll do the same.
