Fox News reports:
The top spokesperson for the Department of Health and Human Services deleted his Twitter in the aftermath of a late-night rant in which he suggested tear gassing journalists and battled with other users on the social media platform. Michael Caputo, who was using his verified Twitter account, commented “gas all of them” in response to a post by a self-described journalist who posted a video saying they were about to be tear-gassed.
In the Facebook Live video, reported by The New York Times, Caputo warned that left-wing hit squads would engage in armed insurrection after the election and said officials were engaging in “sedition” as they handled the pandemic. “You understand that they’re going to have to kill me, and unfortunately, I think that’s where this is going,” Caputo said, according to the Times.

If you’re wondering why all these guys –– Caputo, Stone, Trump –– are calling on supporters to “win at all costs,” it’s because they know they will be prosecuted for their crimes if Trump loses.
They’re not revolutionaries, just tired, old grifters trying to stay out of prison.

Caputo is delivering the message that the Trump administration wants the Department of Health and Human Services to deliver: “buy bullets.” That’s why Caputo isn’t just any HHS employee, he’s its mouth. Think about that. Think real hard about that. https://t.co/4lyBS77YlK

Michael Caputo, a former Trump campaign official with no medical or scientific background, was installed in April as HHS new spokesperson.
Ever since, he has been altering CDC reports to mirror Trump’s claims.https://t.co/jCw6Fg1RRW

Everybody is aghast at HHS official Michael Caputo’s insane rant about an armed plot to depose Trump. But it isn’t even remotely a big leap to there from what Trump himself says constantly about the nature of the political opposition:https://t.co/DS3HBicG4w

I feel like Michael Caputo is a test of just how much Republicans will let Trump get away with and the answer is “all of it.”

The day before the 2018 midterms, current HHS spox Michael Caputo sent me abusive tweets all day long after I questioned his prediction of a “red wave.”
When I went back in the morning to gloat, the brave patriot had blocked me.
