Florida Politics reports:
Gov. Ron DeSantis continues to move the state away from coronavirus restrictions, and even Friday’s decision to move the state into Phase 3 reopening doesn’t represent the end. Addressing reporters Friday in St. Petersburg, the Governor urged NFL stadiums to move toward filling their seats as the season progresses.
DeSantis wants “to be able to show that we’re going to be able to host the Super Bowl in February. We expect to do a full Super Bowl. We want to show we’re going to be able to do that.”
“I think they can still do that. I know there’s some issues about insurance and some other things, and I respect that. Maybe we’ll be able to address that after the election,” DeSantis said.
