The Independent reports:
The Trump campaign quickly responded to Joe Biden selecting California Democratic Senator Kamala Harris as his running mate, describing her as “phony” and predicting she will prove to be the former vice president’s “political living will.”
“Clearly, Phony Kamala will abandon her own morals, as well as try to bury her record as a prosecutor, in order to appease the anti-police extremists controlling the Democrat Party,” the campaign said in a statement.
“Joe Biden is no moderate, and with Harris as his ‘political living will,’ he is surrendering control of our nation to the radical mob with promises to raise taxes, cut police funding, kill energy jobs, open our borders, and appease socialist dictators.”

Kamala is a cop. But also Antifa is coming for you. And Democrats are going to defund the police. Also, she’s a communist.

Congratulations to @KamalaHarris, who will make history as our next Vice President. She understands what it takes to stand up for working people, fight for health care for all, and take down the most corrupt administration in history. Let’s get to work and win.

The crown jewel of Harris in terms of LGBTQ issues is her decision as California AG not to defend Prop 8 and officiating the first same-sex marriage after it was struck down.
As U.S. senator, Harris repudiated LGBTQ exclusion from the Census, trans people in ICE detention.

.@JoeBiden can unify the American people because he's spent his life fighting for us. And as president, he'll build an America that lives up to our ideals.
I'm honored to join him as our party's nominee for Vice President, and do what it takes to make him our Commander-in-Chief.
