QAnon GOP Primary Winner Sued For Defamation

Equity Prime Mortgage (EPM) filed a defamation lawsuit against the campaign of GOP congressional candidate Marjorie Taylor Greene and Melissa Rolfe, the stepmother of Garrett Rolfe, the former Atlanta police officer who fatally shot Rayshard Brooks.

EPM fired Melissa Rolfe, who was their human resources director, on June 18 after she “violated company policy and created an uncomfortable working environment” for other employees, the company said. According to the lawsuit, this involved making racist and sexual comments to other employees.

But Greene, who won the Georgia GOP primary on Tuesday, tweeted last month that Rolfe was fired because EPM “caved to the mob and wrongfully fired her.
