Talking Points Memo reports:
White House trade adviser Peter Navarro on Sunday combatively defended President Trump over his move to sign a flurry of coronavirus relief executive orders at his golf club in Bedminister, New Jersey.
After saying that he’s “confident” that Trump’s executive actions “will stand up” in court, Navarro was pressed on why Trump stayed at his golf club all weekend as relief negotiations fell apart and generally sat on the sidelines during talks.
Navarro then threw in a baffling defense of Trump’s executive orders. “The Lord and the Founding Fathers created executive orders because of partisan bickering and divided government,” Navarro said. “That’s what we have here, but the President has taken action.”
As happens every time he’s on television, Navarro’s raging douchebaggery is trending at #1 on Twitter.
President Trump has transformed the Republican Party into the party of the working class — @potus broad base includes Main Street Republicans, Blue Collar Democrats, and Independents FED UP with the Washington SWAMP.https://t.co/3pQos16U4l

NEW: @PeterNavarro45 says “it doesn’t help when Speaker Pelosi goes out … with her scarves flying and beats the heck out of us.” #MTP@chucktodd: “Where is the president? Why was he at his golf club all weekend?”
Navarro: He “is the hardest working president in history.” pic.twitter.com/XmR51PYFRu

Who’s the idiot? Peter Navarro or the person who puts Peter Navarro on television?

Stop putting Peter Navarro on TV

Jonathan Swan and Chris Wallace BOTH demonstrated exactly how to interview lying liars who lie: PREPARATION.
There is NO excuse for these news shows to let lying liars like Peter Navarro and Larry Kudlow trample the truth without being checked.
The stakes are TOO DAMN HIGH.

Peter Navarro says “The Lord, and the Founding Fathers created executive orders.” Question for Navarro: Was that in the Old Testament or the New Testament? Or perhaps the Koran?
