ABC News reports:
Nick Sandmann is joining Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell’s campaign team as their grassroots director. McConnell’s campaign team confirmed the hiring to WYMT Friday morning.
McConnell’s campaign manager Kevin Golden provided this statement on the new hire: “We’re excited to have Nicholas on Team Mitch. Along with our already strong team, his efforts to bring people together all across Kentucky will be critical to Senator McConnell’s victory this November.”
Sandmann, a former Covington Catholic High School student, received national attention in January 2019 after video of a confrontation at the Lincoln Memorial.
Here’s your Nicholas Sandmann Gif.
I’d be a shame if it shows up in response to every tweet from the fake news industrial complex. pic.twitter.com/7QBbHFoTw8
