USA Today reports:
Sen. Kamala Harris is scheduled to accept her nomination as former Vice President Joe Biden’s running mate Wednesday at the Democratic National Convention, and former President Barack Obama will deliver the keynote address.
Within the theme of “A More Perfect Union,” the lineup includes some of the Washington officials who have drawn prolonged criticism from Republicans.
House Speaker Nancy Pelosi of California, 2016 presidential nominee and former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and a former Biden primary rival, Sen. Elizabeth Warren, are among the speakers. Other speakers include Wisconsin Gov. Tony Evers and New Mexico Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham.
