CBS News reports:
Pressed on whether he accepts that Kamala Harris is a qualified candidate, Jared Kushner said, “I personally have no reason to believe she’s not.” “She was born in Oakland, California,” said “CBS This Morning” co-host Anthony Mason. “Yeah,” Kushner replied.
“Makes her a qualified candidate. Why didn’t the president take the opportunity to debunk that theory?” Mason asked. “He just said that he had no idea whether that’s right or wrong,” said Kushner. “I don’t see that as promoting it. But look, at the end of the day, it’s something that’s out there.”
Jared Kushner on racist, birther attacks on Kamala Harris:
“It’s something that’s out there.”@JaredKushner, “a lot of people are saying” you were created in a Russian lab and sent to destroy America.
You should respond to that because, well, “it’s something that’s out there.”
