The New York Daily News reports:
The city will start painting a massive Black Lives Matter mural on the street in front of President Trump’s namesake Midtown skyscraper on Thursday, according to a source familiar with the matter.
The paint job — which will span the entire Fifth Avenue block between 56th and 57th Streets in front of Trump Tower — is expected to start in the morning and could take multiple days.
Trump took aim at de Blasio on Wednesday over the planned painting, calling the Black Lives Matter movement a “symbol of hate” and accusing the mayor of “denigrating” the city’s “greatest street.”
