The New York Daily News reports:
“We’ve had such an overwhelming response that we’re also looking at another venue. We’re also looking at outside activities, and I know the campaign team will keep the public informed as that goes forward,” Mike Pence said on Fox News.
Pence didn’t directly cite reducing the risk of COVID-19 as the reason for a possible change in venue. But Tulsa health officials have decried the event as “high risk” for spreading the virus, especially given a recent spike in cases in the city.
