Andrew Cuomo: “We Have The Beast On The Run”

The New York Post reports:

New York has “the beast on the run” when it comes to the deadly coronavirus, Gov. Andrew Cuomo said Friday afternoon as the state continues to record downward trends for COVID-19-related hospitalizations.

The governor added, “We have showed we can control the beast. We have the beast on the run. We haven’t killed the beast, but we’re ahead of it.”

Still, Cuomo indicated that hard-hit downstate, which includes New York City, won’t reopen for some time. “Upstate New York, the numbers are dramatically different” than the coronavirus statistics of downstate, Cuomo said.
