The New York Post reports:
Some of New York City’s most iconic landmarks — including One World Trade Center and Madison Square Garden — will glow blue on Thursday as part of a nationwide effort to thank workers on the front lines of the coronavirus crisis.
The Intrepid Museum, The Vessel at Hudson Yards. and nearly 150 other venues across the country will join the global #LightItBlue campaign beginning at 8 p.m. in a show of support for those battling the outbreak.
“At a time when we are fighting every day against a vicious and invisible enemy, there has been one constant – the heroism and resolve of the healthcare workers who continue to fight on the front lines and care for their fellow New Yorkers,” said New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo in a statement.
