The New York Daily News reports:
Trump supporters sick of staying at home plan to stage anti-social distancing car rallies in New York on Friday, flouting Gov. Cuomo’s orders to avoid large gatherings and unnecessary travel amid the deadly coronavirus pandemic.
The so-called “MAGA May Day” rallies will take place in Valley Stream, Queens and Commack, Suffolk County, as part of a nationwide anti-lockdown action promoted by the pro-Trump Women for America First group.
Instead of rubbing shoulders with other “Make America Great Again” fanatics, the organizers said protesters should blast music from their cars, wave American and pro-Trump flags out of their windows and “drive for Freedom.”
Not just in New York, apparently.
