Our friends at San Francisco Pride reached out with a statement after seeing my post about NYC Pride still being on for now. They write:
As many of you are aware, last week the San Francisco Department of Public Health (SFDPH) announced assertive recommendations for large gatherings to help reduce the spread of Coronavirus, or COVID-19, over the next two weeks.
San Francisco Pride continues to eagerly plan for our 50th annual Celebration and Parade, to be held on Saturday and Sunday, June 27-28.
The safety of our communities is our main priority. We are working diligently with our partners and city agencies to ensure that our communities can enjoy the celebration in a healthy way.
San Francisco Pride will continue to monitor the developments of this emerging situation and will follow any directs from the City and SFDPH as they develop.
